Byron Boudreax Recorded with the original Copas Brothers at Studio In The Country in 1975. It was the (B side) of our only 45 record.
Waltzing In My Dreams and It's The End were from the Copas Brothers only other LP record, self titled. Done in '83. LJ Copas sang with me on Waltzing and a lady named Rhonda Sparks did background vocals on It's The End. Note: Harold Cowart base guitar and Toby Zeiglar drums play on these tracks. They toured with Andy Gibbs and Bee Gees (go figure).
Billy, Street Car Lady, Ever Had The Need, Chase The Blues and Shadow are from the Bluemules first recorded project done in 1994 called Half Horse. It was just Chris Carpenter and I at the time. There were other tunes on the project but they belonged to other song writers.
Fate Only Knows, Back Way Out, Highway Blues, I'll Be Waiting For You, You Can Be Beautiful, Ladies Come Ladies Go, Fast Lane and Dream On was the Bluemules second project called Different The Before recorded in 1996. Chris Carpenter, guitar, flute, vocals David Dupree on base guitar and vocals. Chris Carpenter sang lead vocals on I'll Be Waiting For You, You Can Be Beautiful and Ladies Come Ladies Go.
Burned Out Novas was the Bluemules last project which was never completed do to some health problems I suffered in the late nineties. It contained songs like A Good Note, sung by Johnette Downing a I, Gotta Move On, New Orleans You Dancing Lady and Who Only Knows sung by Miss Maggie G. and I. It's Swell To Be A Cowboy, Johnnie, and Tie Your Shoes along with two songs Chris Carpenter had wrote were also planed for this project.
Dancing With Angels was a song I wrote for the passing of my brothers daughter, she was a wonderful free spirited person just 22 and to this day we all still miss her.
Mr. Charlie's Farm was one of two thematic children's CDs I recorded in the early nineties fun but the children's music scene was very restrictive and I did not last long at that. The songs listed on the player or in order as they appeared on the Cd.
A Day At The Aquarium was also a thematic children's CD I recorded shortly after I did Charlie's Farm The Project is dedicated to The Aquarium Of The Americas in New Orleans, La. Johnette and I did several shows their and they where always alotta fun.
All other songs which are not listed above where just recordings of songs done in different places at different times.
